New York Election Protection Primary Volunteer Sign Up

Thank you for volunteering for Election Protection!

On Primary Day, volunteers will be needed to serve as Mobile Legal Volunteers in the field and to answer calls in the hotline call center. Volunteers will be dispatched to:

-Report any problems on the ground to the appropriate channels;
-Assist voters by communicating with poll workers and the Election Protection hotline if any issues arise; and
-Observe the management of polling places to report back the implementation of the new reforms.

Mobile Legal Volunteers will receive their exact assignment during training.

You MUST COMPLETE TRAINING TO SERVE A SHIFT ON PRIMARY DAY, even if you have volunteered with Election Protection in the past.
